Chosen Dance Company operates with the mission of making Hip-Hop culture more accessible to a wider audience, regardless of age, race, or gender, while also validating its place in the world as a legitimate art form. They will perform on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at 8 p.m. in the Perkins Student Center Auditorium. This event is free and open to the public.
Members of the Chosen Dance Company work with afterschool programs throughout the tri-state area, and are dedicated to using Hip-Hop as a medium to communicate tolerance and respect. They have performed on ESPN?s X-Games VIII, BET?s 106 & Park, during Super Bowl XL, and in NFC Conference commercials. They also competed on America?s Next Best Dance Crew.
