In an effort to gather information on the needs of the local community, as well as gauge the community’s knowledge and perceptions about the college, the Penn State Berks Advisory Board and the Strategic Planning Committee have joined forces to create a short survey, which is available in both English and Spanish.
WYOMISSING, Pa. — In an effort to gather information on the needs of the local community, as well as gauge the community’s knowledge and perceptions about the college, the Penn State Berks Advisory Board and the Strategic Planning Committee have joined forces to create a short survey, which is available in both English and Spanish.
The survey will close at the end of the business day on Wednesday, Nov. 15.
The survey is just one of the many ways that Penn State Berks is strengthening its land-grant mission and serving the community. Whether it’s hosting and participating in the United Way of Berks County’s ‘The Big Cheese,’ their largest meal-packaging event in the country; working with the Olivet Boys & Girls Club to clean up a section of the Schuylkill River Trail; or linking hundreds of student interns with organizations and businesses, the college is actively engaged in the Berks County community.
“The Penn State Berks Advisory Board wants everyone to know who we are, where we are, what we have to offer, and that all are welcome to our beautiful campus,” said Pamela Shupp Menet, chair of the Penn State Berks Advisory Board.
