Penn State Berks program on BCTV introduces Chancellor Radha Pyati to community

Penn State Berks recently hosted a program on Berks Community Television (BCTV) titled “Conversation with the Chancellor.” The program featured Penn State Berks Chancellor Radha Pyati and business student Edgar Marquez. The program was hosted by Mackenzie Cullen from the college's Office of Strategic Communications.

WYOMISSING, Pa. — In an effort to introduce Chancellor Radha Pyati to the local community, Penn State Berks recently hosted a program on Berks Community Television (BCTV) titled “Conversation with the Chancellor.” During the program, Pyati and business major Edgar Marquez took turns asking one another questions and discussing many facets of the Penn State Berks experience from their unique perspectives. The program was hosted by Mackenzie Cullen, marketing communications specialist in the college's Office of Strategic Communications.

Pyati shared her background prior to assuming the role of chancellor in July 2023. She also discussed how the college’s commitment to community engagement, dedicated faculty and staff, and the world-renowned reputation of Penn State were some of the factors that drew her to the position of chancellor. She also shared some of the unique experiences she has had so far at Penn State Berks.

Meanwhile, Marquez spoke about his experiences as a student and his role working with the Berks Office of Strategic Communications on the college’s social media accounts, as well as his own work as a social media influencer.

Mackenzie Cullen, marketing communications specialist with Penn State Berks, hosts a conversation on Berks Community Television (BCTV) with Chancellor Radha Pyati and Edgar Marquez, a business student who works in the campus' communications office, about the chancellor’s career path that led her to Penn State Berks and her responsibilities in that role, and about Penn State Berks in general.
