Penn State Berks to host Pride Prom on April 21

WYOMISSING, Pa. – In honor of Penn State’s Campus Pride Month, Penn State Berks will host its first Pride Prom beginning at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2024 in Multipurpose Room 2 of the Perkins Student Center. The event is open to the public (18 and older).

The prom will feature a '90s theme. Appetizers and non-alcoholic drinks will be served. Donations of $5, which will benefit the college’s Rainbow Alliance student organization, are requested but not required.

The event is sponsored by the Berks Rainbow Alliance and the DEIB Committee with support from the Black Student Union, Campus Activity Board, THUN Library, Reading PRIDE, the LGBT Center of Greater Reading, Silk Lehigh Valley, the Bradbury Sullivan Center, and the Eastern PA Trans Equity Project.
