The Penn State Berks Punjabi Culture Club and the Intercultural Office are hosting a Turban Day from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 15, in the Multipurpose Room, Perkins Student Center. This event is open to Penn State Berks students, faculty and staff but space is limited. To register, email Serena Schade at s[email protected] by Oct. 8.
The event will include a presentation on Sikhism and the reasons that Sikhs wear turbans, followed by a dinner, a question-and-answer panel, and a turban tying demonstration. The evening will be rounded out by other activities and games and door prizes.
