Prospective students and their families are invited to a visitation program at Penn State Berks from 9 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, in the Beaver Athletic and Wellness Center’s gymnasium, located just off Broadcasting Road in Wyomissing. The event is part of the University's "Penn State Day" in which Penn State campuses throughout the state host visitation programs during the months of September and October. Attendees must register in advance.
Penn State Berks students and their family members, alumni, faculty and staff are invited to the college’s 2026 Family and Homecoming event, slated for Saturday, Oct. 3. This year’s theme is "Celebrating Penn State pride." The day will include activities for the entire family, as well as events targeted to students and families and to alumni.
Erin Murphy, the 2026-27 Penn State Laureate, will present “With These Hands: A Collaborative Poetry Experience” at 12:15 p.m., Monday, Sept. 21, in the Perkins Student Center Multipurpose Room. A reception will follow with light refreshments. This event is free and open to the public.

Penn State Berks has announced its summer 2026 dean’s list. To earn a dean’s list designation, students must end the semester with a 3.5 grade-point average or higher. Students are listed alphabetically by hometown and last name.
Penn State Berks will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, Sept. 15-Oct. 15, with a variety of vibrant events, educational presentations and cultural showcases. These events include dynamic speakers, Latin cuisine, music, dancing and much more. All events are free and open to the public and most are held at Penn State Berks, except those sponsored by the Berks LaunchBox.
The Berks LaunchBox powered by Penn State has announced six recipients of its ‘IMAGINE Your Business’ grant, designed to help early-stage entrepreneurs accelerate their business growth. The program awards up to $2,000 to assist startups with prototyping, marketing, product development and other essential business expenses.
RegisterBlast, a new tool to assist accommodated students registered with Student Disability Resources and faculty who are instructing them, is being rolled out for the fall 2026 semester at University Park, Berks, Behrend and Altoona campuses, and will continue at the Harrisburg campus after its successful pilot of the new technology in the spring 2026 semester.
