Niahz Wince, a senior majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology at Penn State Berks, received received the 1st Place Undergraduate Poster Award at the Allied Genetics Conference in Orlando, Florida, in July.
The Grand Processional entered the Bryce Jordan Center to officially begin Fall 2015 Commencement exercises on the morning of Dec. 19. The mace, carved from a newel post from Penn State's original Old Main building, traditionally leads the procession.
This fall approximately 5,247 Penn State students will receive their diplomas, with 252 associate, 3,936 baccalaureate, 762 master's, 11 law and 286 doctoral degrees awarded, University-wide.
