Penn State University Libraries’ Teaching and Learning with Technology is working with faculty as part of the 2024 Faculty Engagement Awards focusing on the theme of “Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Teaching.”

James McCarty, far left, received a bachelor degree in applied psychology from Penn State Berks in 2013 and a master degree in higher education from Penn State World Campus in 2016. He has forged a successful career in college admissions, having worked for Penn State Berks and now the Johns Hopkins University School of Education.
James McCarty, who received both his bachelor and master degrees from Penn State and works in college admissions, said he has benefited significantly from his longstanding association with the University.
