WYOMISSING, Pa. — Penn State Berks will hold two webinars in July for both accepted and prospective students, providing participants with an opportunity to ask questions and connect with campus experts.
Courses, Careers, and Communities: Explore the Humanities and Social Science Majors at Penn State – 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 15
Join Penn State Berks faculty who teach in the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences to learn about all the majors and job possibilities that these programs offer. The skills that students learn in these courses are important to all students, regardless of major or intended career. Faculty members will also discuss how they will collaborate with you to engage in social justice activities and initiatives as well as community engagement.
The Humanities and Social Sciences are comprised of majors, research, and internships that include but are not limited to the areas of communication, education and liberal arts.
See the Perks of Berks: Take a Virtual Tour with our Lion Ambassadors – 7 p.m., Thursday, July 23
This July evening will begin with an Admissions presentation, providing attendees with all the information they need to become Penn Staters at Berks. Following the presentation, Lion Ambassador student tour guides will take participants on a virtual campus tour and then they will answer all your questions about what life as a Berks student is really like and all the "Perks of Berks.”
Before the webinars, prospective students can review the Experience Penn State page to find additional online resources, answers to frequently asked questions and information about next steps in the admissions process.
In addition to these events, prospective students can schedule a one-on-one virtual visit with an admissions counselor to get answers to individual questions.
