In honor of the 10th annual NCAA Division III Week, April 5-11, Penn State Berks is celebrating the accomplishments of its student-athletes. Visit the Penn State Berks athletics website and social media platforms to view highlights of individual student-athletes throughout the week, with themes ranging from academic and athletic success to community service projects and more. In addition, each student-athlete who is being honored will take part in an Instagram takeover on the official Penn State Berks athletics (@BerksAthletics5) account to show fans what a day in the life of a student-athlete looks like.
In December 2019, the Berks athletics department volunteered at a local pet food bank as part of their annual pet food drive.
To conclude Division III Week, Penn State Berks will hold its annual pet food drive, which takes place each spring. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the athletics department will not be able to collect donations in person but will guide fans on where to go to help nearby pet food banks through postings across all platforms.
