Berks Senior Spotlight: Diana Stoltzfus

Diana Stoltzfus has certainly made the most of her college experience at Penn State Berks, from conducting research on the effects of virtual reality on exercise, to earning a 4.0 GPA, to being a star player on the women’s volleyball team. She will graduate as student marshal during Berks' fall 2024 commencement ceremony, set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at the Santander Arena in Reading. The title of her commencement speech is "The Power of Perseverance."

Berks' Nittany Lions Softball team wins seventh conference title since 2013

The Penn State Berks Softball Team defeated top seed Penn College, 5-3, to win the United East Championship on May 8, and making the NCAA Tournament, which is a field of 62 teams out of 400 schools that offer softball. Briana Smith, who stepped it up to another level in the circle and at the plate, was named the United East Tournament MVP.

Penn State Berks hosts National Collegiate Rugby Semifinals

On Saturday, Dec. 4, Penn State Berks will host the National Collegiate Rugby East Coast Semifinal Championship for the Chesapeake Conference. Games will be held at 1 and 3 p.m. Both games will be held on the college’s athletic turf field, directly behind the Beaver Athletics and Wellness Center. Women's soccer sweeps individual awards

The Penn State Berks women's soccer team swept the individual awards and had five members named to the All-North Eastern Athletic Conference first team and two on the second team, as announced by the league office on Nov. 7.
