Career Services to host diversity in hiring workshop

The Penn State Berks Office of Career Services and the Penn State Berks Aspiring Scholars Program have partnered with representatives from several organizations to host a discussion of diversity in hiring practices among employers. The discussion will be held via ZOOM from 3:35 to 4:25 p.m. April 21, and it is open to students in all majors.

The presenter group will include:

  • Tanaisha Brisbon, recruiter, INROADS
  • Anthony Holehouse Sr., project analyst within human resources on the campus and diversity recruitment team, Citizens Bank
  • Porche Maloney, diversity analyst, American Express

The panel will offer a short presentation about the application of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices in hiring protocols, followed by a question-and-answer session for students. Attendees will learn how to prepare for interviews for full-time positions and internships.
