WYOMISSING, Pa. — The Penn State Berks Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee will hold a Thanksgiving Dinner to introduce international students to this traditional U.S. holiday on Thursday, Nov. 4, in the Perkins Student Center Multipurpose Room. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. This event is open to Penn State Berks students, faculty and staff, and attendees must pre-register for the event.
The event will feature a traditional U.S. Thanksgiving meal, prepared by Penn State Berks Housing and Food Services. International students will learn the history and evolution of the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States. In addition, individuals can write short notes to international and U.S. students sharing why they are thankful for them, which will be displayed on the tables during the dinner.
