WYOMISSING, Pa. — A new monthly program at Penn State Berks titled “Berks Community Connections” is opening the door to various cultures around the world. For the March program, Theodore Ogaldez will give a presentation on Belize with assistance from Sharon Pitterson-Ogaldez, coordinator of Diversity and International Programs at Penn State Berks. The event will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 22, in the Perkins Student Center Multipurpose Room, and is free and open to the public.

Ogaldez is a native of Belize and is Garinagu by ethnicity. He and PItterson-Ogaldez, his wife, resided there for five years. Together they will discuss the culture and what makes Belize such a special place to live and visit.
