WYOMISSING, Pa. — The Penn State Berks theater program will present “Brainstorm” by Ned Glasier, Emily Lim, and Company Three from Wednesday, Nov. 1, through Saturday, Nov. 4, at 8 p.m. in the Perkins Student Center Auditorium. Tickets can be purchased at the door and are $10 for the general public and $5 for the campus community with a Penn State ID.

“Brainstorm” is a play about how teenagers' brains work, and why they're designed by evolution to be the way they are, said Glasier and Lim. The playwrights collaborated with neuroscientists Sarah-Jayne Blakemore and Kate Mills to design the play to be created and performed by a company of teenagers, drawing directly on their personal experiences. The play first debuted in 2015 at the National Theatre in London.

The cast is comprised of Penn State Berks students: Connor Alexander, Kaylee Garcia-Foster, Ugo Ike-Egolum, Leah Zettlemoyer, Natalie Meigar, Alice Neikam, Skylar Zaleski, Wilson Mak, Anthony Cruz and Olivia Rice. Lauren Hoffman, a student at Penn State Berks, will direct the production.
