READING, Pa. — Prospective students are invited to a day of tours given by Penn State Berks Alumni Lion Ambassadors, as well as current student Lion Ambassadors, beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at the Perkins Student Center Auditorium. Participants and their families are invited to stay after the tours and join the annual Penn State Berks Homecoming Weekend festivities.

Currently, 17 Penn State Berks Alumni Lion Ambassadors have registered to participate in the “For the Glory” tours. “The most exciting part about having Alumni Lion Ambassadors give tours is that they are former students who are passionate about Berks and are excited to return and share their passion with prospective students and their families,” said Rebecca Eckenrode, assistant director of admissions. “These alumni will share their academic, research, internship, athletic and co-curricular experiences and how these experiences prepared them for a successful future in their current careers or postgraduate work.”

In addition, the application fee will be waived for students applying to Penn State Berks for those who have not previously submitted and paid a Penn State application fee.
