Penn State Berks ranks No. 4 in top public colleges in PA in Niche survey

Penn State Berks placed fourth among public colleges and universities in Pennsylvania in a recent Niche marketing ranking.

READING, Pa. — The Niche 2018 Top Public Universities of Pennsylvania ranking places Penn State Berks in fourth place among public colleges and universities in Pennsylvania. According to Niche, Penn State campuses are treated as their own entities in the ranking and Berks is the highest rated campus outside University Park, which ranked in first place.

In addition, in Niche’s 2018 rankings for Pennsylvania, Penn State Berks placed No. 11 for best college dorms, No. 12 for best college campus, No. 16 for best liberal arts college, No. 18 for best small college, No. 23 for college with the best student life, and No. 23 for most diverse college.

According to Niche's methodology, the organization's rankings go beyond basic statistics and strive to capture the student and alumni realities at each college. To reflect the realities of the college experience, their Top Public Universities of Pennsylvania ranking incorporates millions of student reviews and key statistics about the academics, campus, local area, professors, campus life, overall experience, diversity, and safety from the U.S. Department of Education.

Also appearing among the top ten in the list of best public schools in Pennsylvania are Penn State Erie, Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus; Penn State York; Penn State Mont Alto; and Penn State Hazleton.
