Penn State Berks is offering 70 great ways for students to spend their summer and get a jump on their fall semester, with courses will be offered in a wide variety of formats, schedules and subjects.
We don’t know how it gets better than this. The Penn State Berks Office of Continuing Education will offer two sections of the non-credit course “Taylor Swift, Gender, and Communication” during the Maymester sessions. One section will be held in-person on from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays, from May 1 through May 29, while the other section will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays, from April 30 through May 28, in a hybrid format.

Penn State Berks is now offering an integrated accounting degree program, which will allow students to earn both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in just five years and pay undergraduate tuition for both degrees. The program is offered in conjunction with the master of professional accounting degree at Penn State Great Valley.
Penn State Berks announced has that two of its professors have been elected as 2024 INFORMS (Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences) DEI Ambassadors. In this role, Sadan Kulturel-Konak, professor of management information systems and director of the college’s Flemming Creativity, Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Center, and Abdullah Konak, distinguished professor of information sciences and technology, will complete a project titled “Innovation in Operations Research: Fostering Equity and Justice in Problem Formulation.”
