Penn State Berks has a variety of virtual events and activities scheduled through the end of the semester to keep students engaged.

Penn State Berks will hold its first virtual admissions event presented entirely in Spanish for prospective Latino students and their families.

The winning writers of Penn State University Libraries Short Stories’ “Witching Hour” fall 2020 contest have been announced. Representing six campuses, the latest writing contest challenged students, faculty and staff across the commonwealth to unleash their best original short stories or poetry on the "witching hour" theme.

Survivor Beverly Gooden, best known for creating the domestic violence survivor-led movement “Why I Stayed,” will give a virtual presentation.

Berks will hold a virtual celebration to honor Chancellor R. Keith Hillkirk, who will be retiring at the end of this year. This event is scheduled for Tuesday, December 1.

The Freyberger Gallery is providing art for the community featuring timely issues, such as the coronavirus pandemic and politics, through a series of virtual exhibitions this fall.

Penn State Berks will host its annual Veterans Day program at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11. The virtual event is free and open to the campus community.

As part of Penn State’s Global Entrepreneurship Week, Penn State Berks will hold a variety of events for aspiring entrepreneurs from Nov. 16 to 20.

The coronavirus pandemic has made it difficult for first-year students to make connections and form friendships. Berks is working to remedy that with a new program, titled Speed Friending.

Latinx founders will share their startup journey, including why they decided to start their own business, obstacles they faced along the way.
