Penn State Berks police officers will offer free child safety seat inspections to the local community from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, at the Implement Building by the Peiffer House (corner of Broadcasting and Tulpehocken roads) at Penn State Berks. There will be directional signs.

The Penn State Berks Softball Team defeated top seed Penn College, 5-3, to win the United East Championship on May 8, and making the NCAA Tournament, which is a field of 62 teams out of 400 schools that offer softball. The Penn State Berks Freyberger Gallery will present “Bird Call: Studies and Actions Dedicated to Biodiversity,” an intermedia exhibition that blends 2D and 3D works by local artists and study participants alongside time-based works by contemporary new media artists. The exhibition runs May 2-14.
It was a long and winding road for Maxime “Max” Boudeau, originally from Haiti, to Penn State Berks. He will earn his baccalaureate degree in mechanical engineering at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 7, during the college’s commencement ceremony at the Santander Arena.
