If there is an unforeseen emergency that prevents you from making your assigned NSO day, please go online and change your date. Be aware that canceling or changing your NSO may delay your course enrollment.
Yes; however, you must spend at least 10 hours in the learning modules and wait 24 hours before your second attempt. If you want to try a third time, you must spend another 10 hours learning modules. Learn more about the ALEKS assessment »
Students must complete the following items on their NSO Tasklist at least two weeks in advance of their NSO date to receive their first semester course schedule during NSO: Pre-Registration Activity Guide, Major Preferences Activity Guide, Berks New Student Questionnaire and the ALEKS Math Assessment. Students who are unable to complete the above tasks on time will receive information at NSO about when and how to access their fall schedule at a later date.
A light breakfast will be provided during check-in, and Tully's, our campus cafeteria, will be open for lunch at your own cost. All transactions are cashless- we accept all major credit cards and Apple/Google Pay.

Parking permits are available when students come to campus at the beginning of the semester. Police Services will have an online parking permit form for you to complete, print out, and return during the first two weeks of classes. There is no charge for permits, but vehicles do need to be registered. View the University Police and Public Safety webpage, or learn more about traffic and parking regulations online.
