Senior citizens are a frequent target of online scams and phishing attacks. A group of Penn State Berks students majoring in Information Sciences and Technology and Security and Risk Analysis, under the moniker “Cyber Lions.”
From the time Tristan Morales enrolled at Penn State Berks in 2016, he seized every opportunity that came his way. Today Morales is an entrepreneur and one of the founding members of Traduki Technologies LLC.
The Penn State Berks Technology Club (BTC) visited Google’s headquarters in New York City on Friday, Nov. 22. The excursion included a tour, followed by a question-and-answer session with Google employees.
The Resilient Resumes team took third place in the Nittany AI Challenge, held at Penn State University Park campus on September 10, 2019. The team received $5,000 from Nittany AI Alliance for their web application designed to walk the user through the resume creation process.
This year, three Penn State Berks students received the University’s prestigious Erickson Discovery Grant for summer 2019, through the Office of Undergraduate Education. The grants allowed them to conduct research over the summer in the field, lab or studio.
Berks will have two student marshals for the fall 2018 commencement, Sara A. Stoyer from Orwigsburg and Steven Mack Jr. from Denver, Pennsylvania. Each has earned an overall 4.0 GPA and will graduate with summa cum laude honors.
