Penn State Berks was transformed into a Halloween wonderland during the college’s second annual Fall Fest on Friday, Oct. 25. Hundreds of community members visited the campus to enjoy trick-or-treating, family fun activities, and haunted tours.
The pop-up playground will include cardboard boxes, sheets and art supplies, giving children the chance to put their imaginations to work while also building cognitive and social skills.
The Nittany Lion Shrine basks in the early morning sunlight on a crisp, autumn day. The shrine, cut from a 13-ton block of limestone by Heinz Warneke and Joseph Garatti, was dedicated in October of 1942 and celebrated it's 77th birthday Oct. 24.
