MBA Session slated for May 19

Penn State Berks will hold an information session for its MBA program on Thursday, May 19, 2016, at 6 p.m. in Franco 157. Penn State Berks has received requests from professionals in the Greater Reading area for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. In response to this demand, Penn State Great Valley is collaborating with Penn State Berks and is offering its MBA program at Penn State Berks.

Roh brings international perspective to graduation

The road to graduation had many twists and turns for Junghye Roh, originally from South Korea. But after several trials and tribulations, he will walk across the stage to accept his diploma on Saturday, May 7, 2016. Roh began his academic studies at Montgomery County Community College, and decided to transfer to Penn State Berks in 2009 and pursue a B.S. in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology.

Barry takes road less traveled

When Yaya Barry graduates on Saturday, May 7, 2016, it will be the realization of his dream and the culmination of a long journey for him and his family who moved from Guinea to the United States in 2004. When they arrived in Philadelphia, Barry did not know any English. In just 12 years, he was able to not only learn the language, but to earn a B.S. in Accounting and a full-time internship at Ernst & Young as an auditor.
