Penn State Berks alumna and Mrs. Reading International Emily Kenniston will share how her college experiences at Penn State Berks helped her to reach her dreams and how she went on to pay it forward in her local community. The presentation will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, as part of the college’s Arts and Lecture Series. This event will take place in the Perkins Student Center Auditorium, and it is free and open to the public.

Kenniston graduated in 2010 with a bachelor of science in elementary and early childhood education. She is involved with the "Princess for a Day" program where she poses as “Elsa” from the Disney movie, "Frozen." Kenniston holds the title of Mrs. Reading International 2021. She currently works as a professional model and a reporter with Berks Weekly.

During this presentation, Kenniston will share her Berks story, including all the highs and lows, the successes and failures. She will also discuss how important it is that students are challenged not just to think through their ultimate dreams – no matter how amazing they might be – but to also consider how they can use those dreams to serve their communities.
