WYOMISSING, Pa. — Students, faculty and staff at Penn State Berks have a new, convenient option for grabbing a quick snack, picking up personal care items, or stocking their fridge.

Creekside Market officially opened its doors on Nov. 2. It offers an expanded selection of grocery and convenience items such as bread, lunch meat, sliced cheese, peanut butter, grab-n-go snacks, fresh produce and condiments. Students can even pick up baking mixes and disposable bakeware to use in the residential Ivy Hall kitchen.

Additional new items offered at Creekside include Pepperidge Farm foods, Philly Soft Pretzels, greeting cards and flowers. Frozen foods also will be available, including an expanded product line of Berkey Creamery favorites.

In addition, students can use all campus meal plans at Creekside Market.

“We will also carry a wide selection of personal care items so students don’t need to go off campus to find what they need,” said Linda MacDuff, director of Housing and Food Services at Penn State Berks.

Monthly chef specials at Creekside Market will feature a special recipe and demo by a campus chef, using only items sold at the market and requiring only equipment provided in the residence halls.
