The Penn State Berks LaunchBox recently partnered with several other Penn State LaunchBoxes to offer the startup challenge virtual accelerator, a one-week program that aimed to help entrepreneurs to build their business idea and craft an elevator pitch.
Budding entrepreneurs are invited to apply for the Penn State Berks Idea TestLab, a six-week series of workshops that will provide commercialization training and mentorship, as well as the opportunity to apply for micro-grants, for up to 30 startup teams per year.
As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, Penn State Berks will hold a variety of events, including two off-campus events, offered through the Langan LaunchBox. Both events are free and open to the general public.
One of the Langan LaunchBox teams of entrepreneurs focused on developing sustainable technology has advanced to the fundraising stage of Lancaster’s Great Social Enterprise Pitch, an idea incubator and business plan competition.
