'Cherry Wine' shows dangers of substance abuse abuse

Penn State Berks will hold an educational event for students titled “Cherry Wine” at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4, in the Perkins Student Center Auditorium as part of the campus "Stand for State" program. The event will explore the dangers and consequences of alcohol and drug abuse and sexual assault, and provide information on resources available to victims.

Berks announces Stand for State kickoff

Penn State Berks will hold the fall kickoff for its Stand for State program -- a University-wide initiative aimed at empowering Penn Staters by providing bystander intervention training for students, faculty and staff -- from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, in the Multipurpose Room, Perkins Student Center.
