It was a long and winding road for Maxime “Max” Boudeau, originally from Haiti, to Penn State Berks. He will earn his baccalaureate degree in mechanical engineering at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 7, during the college’s commencement ceremony at the Santander Arena.
Penn State Berks students traveled to Mexico City during Spring Break from March 5 to March 12, but it wasn’t for fun in the sun. The trip was embedded in the Modern Latin American History honors course in which the students were enrolled.

Berks County Magisterial District Judge Tonya A. Butler will deliver the keynote address. The event will be held at Santander Arena, located at 700 Penn St. in downtown Reading, and there will be one ceremony for all graduates.
Seven members of the Penn State Berks graduating class received their Schreyer Honors Medals at the Academic Achievement Awards Ceremony held on April 10. Medals are awarded upon completion of the requirements of the Schreyer Honors College, including a capstone honors thesis.
Penn State Berks student Nathan Bonslaver won first-place during the 2022 LION Tank pitch competition for his startup CarToCamp, which manufactures custom sleeping platforms for vehicles to enhance the car-camping experience.
