The Penn State Berks global studies program will host a lecture titled “Israel and Palestine in the Context of International Law” from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 31, in Room 121, Gaige Technology and Business Innovation Building. The event is free and open to the public.

Ten new Penn State Berks craft-brewing certificate program students will graduate as the first cohort in December 2023 following completion of their final Brew Practicum course. The students will host a tasting of their new brew from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, at Broken Goblet Brewing in Bensalem.
“In the Aspiring Scholars Program, I became comfortable with myself. I was able to have a fresh start and have people accept me for who I am. It’s why I decided to stay at Berks, and it impacted me so much that I wanted to have the same impact and inspire other foster youth to come to college,” said senior hospitality management major Amy Yu.
Eighteen new Penn State Berks practical nursing program graduates will cross the stage during the Penn State Berks fall commencement on Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Santander Arena. The students earned their certificates in practical nursing and are eligible for the National Council Licensure Examination-Practical Nurse, or NCLEX-PN.
