Seven Penn State campuses have created the Commonwealth Arboreta Network, a network that will inventory trees and plant life while sharing research and teaching resources, with the eventual goal of creating an arboretum at each of the University's 24 campuses.
A new mobile Penn State id+ card is anticipated to launch in January 2023, allowing students to use their mobile devices to conveniently, safely and securely access campus housing facilities, purchase meals, and more.
Leaders from around the commonwealth gathered at Penn State Berks on Friday, Aug. 26, to celebrate the dedication of the newly renovated and expanded Beaver Athletics and Wellness Center. As part of the renovation and expansion to the Penn State Berks community center, the Penn State Board of Trustees Committee on Finance, Business and Capital Planning has recommended for full board consideration the renaming of the facility from the “Beaver Community Center” to the “Beaver Athletics and Wellness Center.”
With a continuously increasing student population and the need to support various programs, the Penn State Board of Trustees approved Atkin Olshin Schade Architects of Philadelphia, as the architect for the Beaver Community Center at Penn State Berks on Sept. 14.

That’s why The Home Depot Foundation and Student Veterans of America (SVA) are awarding the SVA chapter at Penn State Berks $10,000 for its veteran center on campus, as part of their Vet Center Initiative.
