Berks faculty visits University of Split, Croatia

In September 2018, two professors from Penn State Berks — Belen Rodriguez-Mourelo and Donna Chambers — traveled nearly 4,500 miles to share their expertise on service learning with faculty at the University of Split in Croatia.

Berks alumni embrace heritage and form Curly Sisterhood

Two Penn State Berks alumni sisters have started a "Curly Sisterhood" — but Curly Sisterhood is about much more than hair. The founders want their "curly sisters" to embrace their heritage and natural beauty and not feel pressured to follow the societal archetype.

College hosts Math & Science Day for elementary school

Approximately 125 first-graders from the 10th and Green Elementary School in the Reading School District will visit Penn State Berks for the third annual Math and Science Day on Oct. 15. The program is hosted and coordinated by the college’s elementary and early childhood education degree program.
