Berks, Reading High, local artists present ‘Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges'

What happens when a college, a high school and local artists join together to celebrate diversity? The result is ‘Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges,’ an evening of multicultural performances of dance, music, spoken word and art. This event will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, April 29, in the Perkins Student Center Auditorium on Penn State Berks campus. The program is free and open to the public, but seating is limited and registration is required.

Penn State Berks to hold spring commencement on May 7

Penn State Berks graduating students will have an opportunity to walk across the stage during the college’s spring 2022 commencement, which will be held promptly at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 7. Berks County Magisterial District Judge Tonya A. Butler will deliver the keynote address. The event will be held at Santander Arena, located at 700 Penn St. in downtown Reading, and there will be one ceremony for all graduates.

Penn State campus climate survey to close on April 22

Penn State's sexual misconduct climate survey will close on April 22. The survey was sent to a random sample of students at all Penn State campuses; students can check their Penn State email for a link to complete the survey. The University-wide survey is designed to assess issues of sexual assault, misconduct and harassment.
