Penn State Berks police officers will offer free child safety seat inspections to the local community from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Implement Building by the Peiffer House (corner of Broadcasting and Tulpehocken Roads) at Penn State Berks.
NFL defensive end Michael Sam will visit Penn State Berks at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7, as a part of the college’s Arts and Lecture Series. This event will take place in the Perkins Student Center Auditorium, and it is free and open to the public.
As part of the "Global Oscars Comes to Berks," Penn State Berks will present the 2019 film "Les Misérables," at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21, in room 5 of the Luerssen Building. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Beginning in mid-September, Penn State Berks will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a variety of events; each event is intended for a specific audience, including prospective and current students, the campus community, and the general public.
The craft brewing industry is big business in Pennsylvania, and a recent grant will allow Penn State Berks to develop a program of craft brewing courses, with an emphasis on the use of Pennsylvania-grown specialty grains.

From there she moved on to Indonesia, to India, and back to Thailand — where she began 15-month solo bicycle excursion that ended in Portugal, passing through several other countries. Students in the Bellisario College of Communications produced a video for the Penn State Office of Strategic Communications as part of a course that combines the fundamentals of video production with the opportunity to conceptualize, pitch and create video content for a real-world client.
