Penn State Berks students enrolled in the course “The Rhetoric of American Horror Films” encountered a new twist in this year’s syllabus. While in past semesters, students in CAS 415 would write an academic research paper analyzing the rhetoric of horror films, this spring students had the opportunity to submit creative projects, supported by research.
The winning writers of Penn State University Libraries Short Stories’ “April Showers” spring 2020 contest have been announced. Berks criminal justice students and youth from the RIZE program recently met at the GoggleWorks Center in Reading. The purpose of the meeting was to have an open discussion -- through artistic media -- about social justice issues in the city of Reading.
