Professors’ research leads to state opioid grant

As a result of the research of two professors, Penn State Berks was one of 13 institutions of higher education included in nearly $1 million in state grants for the prevention and reduction of opioid use among college students and for naloxone training on campus.

Penn State Berks students serve the community

Penn State Berks students will hold two important community service events in November. They will transform Opportunity House, the Reading emergency shelter, into a five-star restaurant on the evening of Thursday, Nov. 7, and assist with the breakfast for veterans at Country Meadows of Wyomissing on Monday, Nov. 11.
