The Penn State Berks softball team won its second straight United East Championship title after defeating Penn State Harrisburg 9-1 in the final game of the tournament. Berks, who entered the day as the only unbeaten team, suffered a 2-0 loss to Harrisburg to force the decisive winner-take-all contest.

This opportunity is open to high school and college teams and local clubs.

The Northeastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has determined that it is in the best interests of student-athletes, coaches, staff, and fans to cancel all fall sports competition. Abington, Berks and Harrisburg belong to the NEAC.
