The final Penn State Berks LionSide Chat for the spring 2021 semester will feature an interview with Chancellor George Grant, who assumed this leadership role in January.

Berks theater program will stream its spring mainstage production, "Now and Then," online produced by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc. The play will premiere at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, and will be available on the college’s YouTube site until May 1.

The Penn State Berks Office of Career Services and the Penn State Berks Aspiring Scholars Program have partnered with representatives from several organizations to host a discussion of diversity in hiring practices among employers.

Penn State Berks will hold a virtual admissions event for high school juniors from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 17. This webinar will allow prospective students and their families the opportunity to connect with campus experts and current students.

As part of Pride Month, Penn State Berks will host Dominique Jackson, best known for her leading role of Elektra Abundance on the FX television series "Pose," at 7 p.m. April 15.

The ninth annual Losoncy Lecture in Physics and Astronomy will be presented by Ruth Daly, professor of physics at Penn State Berks. Daly will present “An Overview of Black Holes in Galaxies across the Universe," on April 9.

Penn State Berks will celebrate National Biomechanics Day on April 7. This year the event will be virtual in the form of a LionSide Chat webinar designed to introduce prospective students and their families to fields that comprise biomechanics, including engineering, kinesiology and health science.
