Baseball garners three individual awards

The Penn State Berks baseball team placed three members on the All-NEAC First Team and one on the second team, while bringing home three of the four individual awards, as announced by the conference May 9.

Berks softball team wins fifth NEAC championship

The Penn State Berks softball team had to do things the hard way as it worked back from the loser's bracket with three wins on May 5 to claim its fifth North Eastern Athletic Conference championship in six years. Berks topped Wilson College, 8-0, in five innings to start off the day. The team then had to beat Keuka College twice, which it would go on to do by scores of 12-3 (five innings) and then 5-0 in the winner-take-all seventh game of the tournament.

Jess Rozick was named the North Eastern Athletic Conference Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year and the Penn State Berks softball team had six members earn all-conference honors, as voted on by the league's coaches.

Men's golf wins first ever NEAC Championship

The Penn State Berks men's golf team won its first ever North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) and Andrew Cornish became the first Golfer of the Year in program history after finishing as the individual champion on Sunday afternoon.

For the second week in a row, Penn State Berks swept the tennis and golf honors, as announced by the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) on Tuesday afternoon. Jess Rozick was also selected as the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Pitcher of the Week for the second week in a row.

Women's soccer wins fifth straight NEAC Title

The Penn State Berks women's soccer team won its fifth straight North Eastern Athletic Conference Championship Title after defeating Penn College, 4-0, on Nov. 5. Caitlin Golden was selected as the NEAC Tournament MVP. Then on Nov. 12, the Nittany Lions had its 2017 season draw to a close with a 2-1 setback in overtime to No. 12 ranked SUNY Geneseo in the first round of the NCAA Regional Tournament.

Heffner selected to NFCA All-America 2nd Team

Jenna Heffner capped off her illustrious four-year career by being earning National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Second Team honors, as announced at the NCAA Division III Championship Banquet on Wednesday evening in Oklahoma City.
