Four Berks athletes garner weekly conference honor

For the second week in a row, Penn State Berks swept the tennis and golf honors, as announced by the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) on Tuesday afternoon. Jess Rozick was also selected as the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Pitcher of the Week for the second week in a row.

Women's soccer wins fifth straight NEAC Title

The Penn State Berks women's soccer team won its fifth straight North Eastern Athletic Conference Championship Title after defeating Penn College, 4-0, on Nov. 5. Caitlin Golden was selected as the NEAC Tournament MVP. Then on Nov. 12, the Nittany Lions had its 2017 season draw to a close with a 2-1 setback in overtime to No. 12 ranked SUNY Geneseo in the first round of the NCAA Regional Tournament.

Heffner selected to NFCA All-America 2nd Team

Jenna Heffner capped off her illustrious four-year career by being earning National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Second Team honors, as announced at the NCAA Division III Championship Banquet on Wednesday evening in Oklahoma City.

Record setting year comes to a close at Trinity

The Penn State Berks women's soccer team saw its record setting 2016 season draw to a close with a 2-0 setback to No. 2 ranked Trinity (Texas) University in the NCAA Tournament Round of 16 on Nov. 19 at Paul McGinlay Soccer Field.

Nittany Lions heading to Sweet 16

The Penn State Berks women's soccer team punched its ticket for the first trip to the NCAA Sweet 16 after edging Nazareth College, 1-0, in a nail biter on Sunday afternoon at Edwards-Maurer Field. In addition to the deepest run in postseason history, the 2016 squad has recorded the most wins (19) and shutouts (14) in a season.
