The Penn State Berks kinesiology department is putting out a call for local sport and fitness teams that would like the opportunity to complete free performance assessments, ranging from biomechanics to physiology to strength and conditioning. This opportunity is open to high school and college teams and local clubs.
On Saturday, Dec. 4, Penn State Berks will host the National Collegiate Rugby East Coast Semifinal Championship for the Chesapeake Conference. Games will be held at 1 and 3 p.m. Both games will be held on the college’s athletic turf field, directly behind the Beaver Athletics and Wellness Center. The Northeastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has determined that it is in the best interests of student-athletes, coaches, staff, and fans to cancel all fall sports competition. Abington, Berks and Harrisburg belong to the NEAC.
