Penn State Berks has received requests from professionals in the Greater Reading area for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. In response to this demand, Penn State Great Valley is collaborating with Penn State Berks and is offering its MBA program at Penn State Berks.

In May 2016, two former Reading School District students and first-generation college students will graduate and embark on exciting journeys, and it all began with the Penn State Educational Partnership Program (PEPP), an early-intervention collaboration between Penn State Berks and the Reading School District.
The road to graduation had many twists and turns for Junghye Roh, originally from South Korea. But after several trials and tribulations, he will walk across the stage to accept his diploma on Saturday, May 7, 2016.
Roh began his academic studies at Montgomery County Community College, and decided to transfer to Penn State Berks in 2009 and pursue a B.S. in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology.

It has been a long and winding road from Haiti to graduation for Launick Saint-Fort, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major. She came to the United States with her family when she was just eleven years old, and worked for a few years before enrolling in Penn State Berks.

When Yaya Barry graduates on Saturday, May 7, 2016, it will be the realization of his dream and the culmination of a long journey for him and his family who moved from Guinea to the United States in 2004. When they arrived in Philadelphia, Barry did not know any English. In just 12 years, he was able to not only learn the language, but to earn a B.S. in Accounting and a full-time internship at Ernst & Young as an auditor.
Foday Gibateh always dreamed of attending Penn State Berks since he visited the college for a tour. Katelyn Leets will earn her B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology on Saturday, May 7, 2016. But she won't be taking time for rest and relaxation after graduation. She will travel to Austria to continue work on her National Science Foundation (NSF) Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) through the University at Syracuse-SUNY. After completing the REU, she will begin the Ph.D. program in Chemistry the University at Syracuse-SUNY.
A new class of nearly 300 Penn State Berks students will receive their baccalaureate and associate degrees on May 7, including the first graduates of the campus' criminal justice program.
