This fall, two Penn State Berks professors traveled nearly 4,500 miles to the University of Split in Croatia and they could not believe how much things had changed in the one year since they had last been there.

The Penn State Bookstore, which is operated by Barnes & Noble College, has awarded its fifth round of grants to support a range of programs and initiatives throughout the University. Launched in the 2015-16 academic year, the grant program began through a $1.25 million commitment to Penn State to help advance the University’s most pressing priorities.

Penn State Berks will host its annual Veterans Day program at 12:15 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, in the Perkins Student Center Multipurpose Room. The event is free and open to the campus community, and lunch will be provided following the program.

The Berks LaunchBox is accepting members from the local community. Members will enjoy access to 3D printers, laptops, a laser cutter, and other high-tech equipment; training and education on equipment and software.
